cLOGS was a KAF chatroom log viewer that allowed netops and administrators to examine past conversations (in the second generation of KAFC). Users of cLOGs had to be concurrently logged into the chatroom (but not necessarily in a room).
It allowed for a very fine set of search parameters, but it was inefficiently written and attempting to search too broadly would cause the database to be bogged down, causing the chatroom to lag very badly. Therefore, it was suggested to people who had access to know what they were doing before they used it.
After the server moved, the tool broke and it was no longer used. No replacement was ever created.
