The Great Cookies event was kicked off by Betabeta on 19 March 2007. Similar to The Great Bleaching, this is event is a mass change of usernames to a common theme. Originally it was intended for just moderators, and then it was expanded to include administrators too. Amatsu was the first one to change to a Cookie username.
