Scaled Post Count

Scaled Post Count is a logarithmic scale of a member's post count that is shown on some places. It was implemented into the forum on 26 April 2006. The scaled post count information was added to the sides of posts and also replaced the post counts on the members list (though only for the highest posting members initially). However, it has never actually replaced the true post count, as the original post count has always stayed intact beside posts. Although the original intent of the scaled count was to decrease posting-for-post-count, because it wasn't fully implemented, it has had no effect.

The scaled post count is determined using:

Where scaled is the scaled post count and post is the real post count. The relationship is shown in the following graph (linear scale):
