KAF Trading Card Game is the official trading card game of Keiichi Anime Forever.
Originally, sk89q started an unofficial CCG/TCG for the anime series DN Angel. A Niwa Daisuke card was created. Asebeneku, a member and friend, suggested to make a trading card game of Keiichi Anime Forever when sk89q showed him the card. To sk89q, it seemed like an interesting idea. A design was made and the first card went to Yu Yu Hakagurl. The second went to sk89q. From then on, cards were created mostly for active members and partly by random. sk89q also invited some old members for a card.
A forum was created and ideas were being pushed forward. Magic, weapon, and place cards were created. Unfortunately, there was no suitable overall idea for the TCG and the project was turned into a CCG and the forum was closed.
The project disappeared from that day and the forum was also later cleared because of The Day of Infamy.
There existed four type of cards:
All cards had a name, a title, a type/gender, a biography or description, an image, and a set of properties.
Member cards were created about members. The name of the card was their username. The title, biography, and image are picked by them. The gender was also provided if they would like it so.
The cards possessed the following properties:
Magic cards possessed some magical ability. Unlike weapon cards, they were not physical devices that are used to conduct damage. Their strengths varied per card.
They possessed the following properties:
Weapon cards were tools that players may used to damage enemies. Weapons took a physical form.
They possessed the following properties:
Place cards were places were battles may take. They may also served other unexplored purposes.
They possessed the following properties:
The front and back design was created by sk89q. There were four four designs for member, magic, weapon, and place cards. On the back, although it may say a series number, it does not actually mean anything as there is/was only 1 series
The templates were created in Adobe Photoshop. The cards used a font named Bell Gothic Std Black.
The second series was started 21 January 2007. Members could update their card information and upload an image on their own to generate a card using an easy to use online wizard, eliminating the need for a human to manually create the cards. Only member cards were made available, and with no back side.
