KAFWiki was launched around the time right after The Day of Infamy (and The Day of Infamy was one of the first large articles on KAFWiki). Since there were no official links to this wiki, not many users knew how to get on to the KAFWiki. Due to the absence of linking to KAFWiki, KAFWiki remained passive for almost 3 months.
In May of 2005, sk89q finally put a link to the wiki on the forums. The activity on KAFWiki in May 2005 did not increase however. Nonetheless, it became more active than in the 3 months preceding May 2005.
On 9 May, 2006, the wiki was shutdown due to the lack of activity and moderation.
The KAFWiki was the precursor to the KAF Encyclopedia, although much larger in scope.
