HUGFEST 2005!!!!111oneone was a forum created by sk89q out of pure randomness that promoted textual hugging to everyone and anyone.
A new "continent" formed as a result of the original HUGFEST forum. It was named Gunconia after Go Go GunCon Fighter's post about discovering a new continent. The actual continent was named by Aurora_sword. The forum was removed by sk89q and officially seen as a sinking of the continent.
A new HUGFEST forum was created for 2008 for Nostalgic Confusion Day.
