AV Chat

A/V Chat, or audio/video chat, is a alternative chatroom for members with microphone and webcam capabilities. The service is provided by Userplane, and A/V chat began its operation on 18 April, 2006. While the latency for messages to be sent and received is small in A/V chat, its Flash interface is considerably slow and CPU-intensive.

As the "free plan" was installed, A/V chat is not linked to the members database, and users must either enter as guests or register with Userplane separately. Due to the exceptionally limited moderation controls provided by Userplane, A/V chat is largely governed by martial law under the current administrators and moderators in the room. As a result, and partly due the nature of the medium, the content in A/V chat is not strictly moderated. It has been A/V chat where many elements of Keiichi Anime Forever's culture have arisen from.
